On your knees to Odinn and pray.
For to war we march this day.
Odinn watch us!
Keep us strong!
Oft our ways
Are paved with pain,
Much there is
That may go wrong.
On your knees to Odinn and pray.
That if you die, it be in the warriors way.

      my grandfather was a druid of the 60’s and as he was fairly mysterious, i kind of taught myself from books
      Odin captured my imagination as the god of marching (we rarely drove anywhere) and poetry.i like his humility, did he say he wasn’t the First?
      i must admit that my faith has broadened to include Indian paganism or countryside beliefs 🙂
