95. Of Magpies (new)

The magpie rhyme resists reason
but to not count them is treason.
One for sorrow
watch how you go
Two for joy
don’t be coy 😉
Three for a girl
but i’m not ready
Four for a boy
let’s call him Freddy
Five for silver
keep your eyes open
Six for gold
here’s high hoping
Seven for a secret
never to be broken.

      1. the original rhyme that’s hundreds of years old is probably superstition evolved into a lullaby/nursery rhyme 🙂
my daughter sings it all the time lol
it’s been on my mind so thought i would try to recreate it in my own lil way 🙂

Any Thoughts?
