About me

Hi, thanks for visiting 🙂
All writing is my own unless otherwise stated.

It feels weird writing a blog, i’ve been writing for a long time, for a while i refused to write but that didn’t solve anything, i’ve lost a fair amount of old material due to moving houses and 3.5 inch floppy-disks drives being pretty much obsolete. Most of the poetry is salvaged from the last ten years or so.
Music has always been important to me, started with my parents music that included Black Sabbath and Meatloaf but after taking mushrooms as a naive 18year old, well, my music world exploded.
i watched Pink Floyd’s The Wall, Natural Born Killers with it’s awesome soundtrack of unknown music and even Fantasia muted with Bob Marley on the amplifier.
That night, those liberty caps, it’s too difficult to explain, i wish i could rhyme or write but nothing fits the feelings.
Before then, i read Enid Blyton as a kid and progressed to my parents James Herbert collection. After mushrooms i turned to Tolkien and different books of faith.
The Silmarillion was like reading a lost treasure!
Why didn’t they preach Tolkien in school, instead of shakespeare? i would’ve turned up!
The Writer Bhaktivedanta Prabupada, i came across his books at a crucial point in my life, changed the way i saw God, the gods, faith and religion.

The years drift by, there’s so much i could write, there’s only so much i can delete.

  1. Thanks for following my blog. I don’t follow blogs just because someone follows mine, but I read your stuff, and I really like it. Your words remind me of someone I used to know. I find reading them to be comforting- I like it. Keep posting. 🙂

  2. lol thankyou 🙂 i don’t expect anyone to follow my writing
i used to be a wolfbite if thats any help 😉
Your post on Time was great, i hope you post some more 🙂

  3. :O Wolfie?! HaHA! It’d have been a long time before I figured that out on my own! Ha! How are ya man?! I really enjoyed reading your stuff-all of it-I just “liked” my absolute favorites. Lol I’m glad to see you’re blogging. 🙂

  4. ye i got bored of reading books and gaming so thought i’d share my “meagre food for souls” (the doors quote)
and then i remembered that you blogged so thought i’d wake you up
Hope u are all good 🙂

    1. Oh yes, sometimes writing is the only outlet at a particular moment; whether it be from boredom or therapy. Aye, perhaps ’tis only “meager food for souls,” but yet mine craves it so. Lol Good stuff.
Yeah, I usually get up around 5:30 my time to get a cup of coffee in some peace and solitude before I get the kids up for school.
My blogging seems to be very sporadic… but my writing’s consistent- I just need to post it more faithfully. Ha!
How’s you and your kiddo? She’s gotta be getting old already, surely…? (Is a “she”, right? My memory begins to get shady these days. Lol)

      1. ye the lil brat’s nearly 8 now 🙂 and usually full of confidence 🙂 she forced my hand into buying a dog, something i swore i would never do, but i’m glad that we did, he’s a lil terrorist terrier lmao
i hardly write at the moment, far too lazy to get up before half6 hehehe, i’ve set myself a task of posting 50 unreleased poems, at least one a day before i start thinking of anything new 🙂

  5. Hi Apetheticpoet. Nice for you to call by. Thank you for liking my poems ‘ The isolated Ranch and The Foxes Gathered’. Best Wishes. The Foureyed Poet.

  6. god bless (or whomever is handing them out these days) us sporadic bloggers… this stuff can’t be churned out like news, at least not by me. Thanks.

  7. I have just nominated you for a Liebster award. Not because I want to kiss your ass. Not because I want you to nominate me back. Not because I want to hijack your followers.

I just want your OPINIONS, so answer the damn questions, OK?!

You don’t have to pass it on if you don’t want to. I won’t blame you. This shit took me HOURS!

    Big love

    SSxx

    1. Hiya Sis, it will be an honour to receive the Liebster Award from you 🙂
      sorry i’ve not replied sooner, i found this message in my spam filter for whatever silly reason & my internet at home has been stopped ;
where do i find the relevant questions, i can use this PC again tomorrow 🙂
thanks again for nominating me, and i can’t wait to get my home internet back to read everyones stuff that i’ve missed out on (including yours) lately.

  8. Thank you for being a part of Project R, TwinCentaur.
I have a feeling that this may have been only the first of many future collaborations. At least I very much hope this to be the case 🙂
Next I’m planning a series of discussion posts on opinion: Let’s Talk Opinion. These posts are meant to engage with issues that are important to other bloggers – so it is all about connecting with others, which I think will be a nice continuation of the spirit of Project R.
Your insights are always very welcome, of course.
    Warm regards,
    Vic
